Wasn't the "British* vaccine success" actually Russian! And why not a word about it by fake media BBC?

* Astra is actully a Swedish company that used to be very successful before it merged with Zeneca.

'Emergency trial' approved for Russian Sputnik and Swedish-UK Astrazeneca made two-component vaccine at Oxford

* Peculiarly, 'Storbritannien' means 'Great Britain', i.e. only the main island - not incl. the Northern Irland colony (or whatever one should call it). Peter Klevius has no idea why even official Sweden keeps calling UK Great Britain.

Peter Klevius translation and comment: UK (i.e. MHRA) has now as the first country approved Astra Zeneca's vaccine for a kind of emergenct trial. In November 2020 AstraZeneca/Oxford reported a lousy 70% efficiacy (actually only some 60% in the older group). However, just a few weeks later CEO Pascal Soriot said that the efficiacy had suddenly increased to a staggering 95%. So it seems obvious to explain this sudden and speedy success to the fact that Russian authorities had on November 27, 2020, proposed trying a combination of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine (aka ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 or AZD1222) with Sputnik V to boost efficacy.

Btw, the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine, unlike the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, which store the instructions in single-stranded RNA, uses double-stranded DNA.

The logic for the combination proposal from Russian authorities is that two full dose regimen of AstraZeneca-Oxford University vaccine resulted in 62 percent efficacy in the early analysis. The reason attributed to the lower immunity is that AstraZeneca uses the same Chimpanzee adenoviral vector for the two doses. It was reasoned that the first shot makes the second shot ineffective. In contrast, Sputnik V vaccine which claims 95 percent efficacy uses two different human adenoviral vectors for two shots, called as heterologous boosting. Russian researchers say by combining the vaccine with Sputnik V will further boost the efficacy of AstraZeneca-Oxford University's vaccine.

Both AstraZeneca's vaccine AZD1222 and Sputnik V are based adenoviral vectors that contain genetic material of SARS-CoV-2 virus spike protein. The adenovirus itself is unable to replicate so it can only act as a carrier of genetic material.

"Great America" and "global Britain" spreading disaster - again?!

Is Oxford University and AstraZeneca cheating with its Covid-19 vaccine?

UK has a poor reputation when it comes to drugs and the handling of diseases. Here's just one example:

Oxford University and AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine trial again got casualties.

Peter Klevius has already earler warned about the risks with tampering with RNA code instead of doing as the Chinese Sinovac, i.e. using safe dead virus. And the risks are even higher when the company itself has questionable records (see below).

In short, Peter Klevius points to the fact that there's no way Oxford University/AstraZeneca can claim it was just placebo.

Brazilian newspaper Globo and international news agency Bloomberg said he was in the control group and had received a placebo rather than the test vaccine, citing sources close to the trials.

“Following careful assessment of this case in Brazil, there have been no concerns about safety of the clinical trial, and the independent review in addition to the Brazilian regulator have recommended that the trial should continue,” Oxford said in a statement.

AstraZeneca said medical confidentiality meant it could not give details on any individual volunteer, but that independent review had “not led to any concerns about continuation of the ongoing study”.

Brazil’s national health regulator, Anvisa, confirmed it had been notified of the case on October 19.

The D’Or Teaching and Research Institute (IDOR), which is helping organise the tests in Brazil, said the independent review had “raised no doubts about the safety of the study, and recommended it continue”.

Oxford and AstraZeneca previously had to suspend testing of the vaccine in September when a volunteer in Britain developed an unexplained illness.

Trials resumed after British regulators and an "independent" review concluded the illness was not a side effect of the vaccine.

Half the volunteers in the final-stage clinical trial – a double-blind, randomised, controlled study – receive a placebo, IDOR said. Around 8,000 volunteers have been vaccinated so far in Brazil, and more than 20,000 worldwide, it said.

Study participants must be doctors, nurses or other health sector workers who come into regular contact with the virus.

The deceased volunteer was a young doctor who had been treating Covid-19 patients since March in the emergency rooms and intensive care units at two hospitals in Rio de Janeiro, Globo said. He graduated from medical school last year, and was in good health before contracting the disease, family and friends told the newspaper.

However, whereas the Chinese vaccine also protects against infection, AstraZenecas' vaccine doesn't.

Why is BBC lying about economies and vaccines?

The world's best vaccine against SARS-CoV2/Covid-19 comes from the world's by far largest economy.

France and UK practically share 10th place.

Behind the Sinophobic smear campaign against China re. Hong Kong, Uighurs, etc. lays US' desperate effort to stop China's success. Unfortunately US evil game is supported by common Sinophobia - much like how the Nazis were supported in Germany and beyond.

Btw, talking about e.g. extradition, Human Rights, fair trial etc., what about Assange, Snowden etc.?!

US is a proven master of deal breaking - so why not break its deal with the Devil for a change?

Peter Klevius to Chinese people: I'm not a racist like many in the UK parliament - although I certainly look like one.

US' and its puppets' Sinophobia campaign rooted in UK's appalling opium wars against Chinese people

UK origin of Sinophobia: The 19th century Opium Wars were triggered by UK's imposition of the opium trade upon China. Lord Palmerston regarded the Chinese as uncivilized and suggested that the British must attack China to show up their superiority as well as to demonstrate what a "civilized" nation could do. The resulting concession of Hong Kong compromised China's territorial sovereignty. There's also the background to South China Sea.

Behind the Huawei etc. Sinophobia: The Pact between the US freeloader and the Saudi Devil.

UK created a devil's kingdom in Arabia, and US made a devil's oil pact with the Saudi custodians of islam - hence infecting the world with petrodollar and anti-Human Rights sharia islam (Saudi based and steered OIC).

The US made up a grand conspiracy about China and Chinese. No country in the world has been equally targeted by unfounded US aggression as China - yet China is called the "assertive aggressor" by US and its puppets.

What "core values" does UK share with US? Extra-judicial killings, militarism, support of the Saudi dictator family's murders, war crimes, and spread of terror, OIC's anti-Human Rights sharia etc.?!

Chinese civilization vs. US freeloading rouge nation.

US has a long history of freeloading on the world. Why would you be stupid to believe anything of it? And when you use US' Google company to google'US aggression' the return is Chinese aggression.

The Belt and Road Initiative is based on ordinary and previously accepted and established norms. What US has, and still does, is the very opposite.

On 15 August 1971, the United States unilaterally terminated convertibility of the US dollar to gold, effectively bringing the Bretton Woods system to an end and rendering the dollar a global counterfeit currency which sucked currency etc. financial profit unfairly from the world and into US. The term monetary hegemony appeared in Michael Hudson's Super Imperialism, describing not only an asymmetrical relationship that the US dollar has to the global economy, but the structures of this hegemonic edifice that Hudson felt supported it, namely the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

US tries to push US jurisdiction globally through arbitrary trade wars and sanctions. US even tries to colonize the space outside the Earth for itself and its militarism.

However, China shows a possible way out of this US made trap - but that freedom would mean US falling down to its right place. This is why US demonizes China with unfounded accusations. In fact, China's position has made it something of a dream state when it comes to global spread of technology, wealth and health. But US hates to face itself in the mirror of reality.

UK has for 20 years used Huawei without the slightest problem, but when US lost the tech race then suddenly Huawei became a "threat".

So when US and its puppets in the cyberspace attacking and spying Five Eyes organization try to meddle and destabilize in China, then Chinese defence against these cyber attacks and spying is called a "threat" and turned into a reason for accusing China. And every allegation against China's Covid-19 handling has been proven false, yet constantly repeated by BBC and in the parliament etc.. And when Hong Kong was turned into a terror chaos by external meddling and support, then China had to implement similar security laws which are accepted in US and UK but strangle not in China.

While BBC showers the Brits with constant war nostalgia (war mongering?) UK continues selling weapons to the islamofascist Saudi dictator family's war crimes in Yemen etc. And the right wing anti-EU Brexiters have turned into a militant anti-China campaign organization in Westminster.

Peter Klevius used to admire the Greenham Common women against nukes - presumably Theresa May didn't participate because she wouldn't hesitate to use nukes against civilians - so where are the peace voices in UK today?!

When will Westminster Abbey be turned into a Saudi/OIC supported Salafist shariamosque?

BBC and its right wing China haters in Westminster are complicit not only to Saudi atrocities and Human Rights violations induced by Saudi based and steered OIC, but also to crimes committed by IS and other islamist groups used by US and its NATO puppets, as well as all the islamic jihad inspired crimes around the world - and no dudue, you can't get away with it by lying "it's not islam".BBC's hateful and gravely misleading propaganda machine is a threat to peace, development and prosperity. Peter Klevius asks for an independent international inquiry on BBC's racist Sinophobia, its deliberately misleading propaganda combined with neglecting truthfulness,  and its support of sharia islamism - incl. how many victims and suffering it has caused because of its worldwide propaganda influence combined with its denial or blinking of islamic atrcities. Peter Klevius thinks it's a shame that

Should BBC and some politicians be put on a Nurenberg trial for draconian crimes against humanity* after this relentless and demonizing Sinophobia campaign and deliberate lies, support of Saudi islamofascism, etc.?

* Meaning they are complicit not only to Saudi atrocities and Human Rights violations induced by Saudi based and steered OIC, but also to crimes committed by IS and other islamist groups used by US and its NATO puppets, as well as all the islamic jihad inspired crimes around the world - and no dudue, you can't get away with it by lying "it's not islam".BBC's hateful and gravely misleading propaganda machine is a threat to peace, development and prosperity.

BBC's extremely bigoted and hypocritical Sinophobic Saudi raised muslim presenter Mishal Husain says the Chinese demand for Uyghur women to follow the same law as other Chinese women as something worse than the islamofascist Saudi dictator family's atrocities - incl. murders, war crimes, terrorism, and persecution of Shia muslims etc..

2013 in a terrorist suicide attack by Uyghur muslims (Usmen Hasan, his wife Gulkiz Gini, and his mother, Kuwanhan Reyim) five people died and 38 injured.
The East Turkestan Islamic Movement, or Turkistan Islamic Party, claimed responsibility and threatened with future attacks.
Chinese police asked for information about two people from Xinjiang describing a vehicle and four Xinjiang number plates.
Three suspects, identified as Huseyin Guxur, Yusup Wherniyas and Yusup Ehmet, were convicted of masterminding the attack.
Chinese security official Meng Jianzhu said the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) was behind the attacks, but Uighur exile groups and some Western observers disputed the claim although on 24 November 2013, the Turkistan Islamic Party, i.e. ETIM, declared it was responsible for the attack.
The United States State declined to call it a terrorist attack and and instead reiterated support for Uighur "human rights" despite the fact that Turkistan Islamic Party has been designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union, China, and the United States.
